About Our Farm
Mike and I founded Fluffy Feather Farm in 2022 as a new adventure in our long-time love of animals. Previously, Mike and I worked in the pet industry which ultimately led us to start a third-party services organization dedicated to supporting pet store operations back in 2010. After 10 years of servicing customers and businesses, we decided to take a step back and focus on time with our twin boys, Kaleb and Keegan.
It’s no real surprise that we fell right back into something animal related, this time raising miniature Scottish Highland Cattle, miniature donkeys, chickens, ducks, goats, and farm-fresh produce. Our work on the farm is truly a labor of love and we’re proud to raise quality livestock and grow top-notch produce for our local community.
Fluffy Feather Farm takes pride in being a family-owned and operated homestead. We believe that this family-first approach helps us deliver on our other two core values: transparency and quality. We work together as a family to nurture our cattle, chickens, ducks, goats, and donkeys, which means we’re in a position to tell you anything you want to know about how they’re being raised. That’s real transparency. We also believe that our close connection to the farm as a family leads to quality in our livestock, eggs, and produce. Whether it’s an adorable fluffy calf or a strawberry patch, our products are lovingly nurtured to be the best they can be. That’s quality. That’s what sets Fluffy Feather Farm apart.
"Our dads helped us make this chicken business...We have learned everything from feeding them to packaging the eggs for customers."

Meet The Fluffy Feather Farm Team
The farm may have been Adam’s idea, but Fluffy Feather Farms is a family-operated venture, so Mike certainly has his role to play. He enjoys the peace and quiet of the homestead and watching the kiddos care for the land and the animals. Mike’s passion is the garden and our awesome Farmstand! Mike is the one that makes everything work behind the scenes.
Kaleb adores life on the farm! He’s focused on how to sell more eggs, help run the farmstand, and visiting all the animals especially the goats! Kaleb loves sports which sometimes takes him away from the farm, so he also is an expert on getting Keegan to do his chores.
Keegan loves getting his hands (and boots!) dirty, helping to care for the cows, donkeys, chickens and ducks. However his favorite is to spend time with the barn cats! Along with his brother, he’s proud to help keep the family farmstand stocked with fresh produce, nurturing seasonal fruits and veggies like strawberries, tomatoes, and his favorite, pumpkins.
Miniature highland Cattle
Miniature Highland Cattle, also known as Miniature Scottish Highland Cattle, are a smaller version of the Scottish Highland cattle bread, which originated in the Scottish Highlands and Scottish Islands.
The Miniature Highland breed was developed in the 1970’s by carefully and selectively breeding smaller Scottish Highland cattle. Breeders aimed to maintain all of the distinctive characteristics that make Scottish Highland cattle special: shaggy coats, long horns, and calm temperament, while reducing their overall size by mixing them with other smaller cattle breeds resulting in what we see today
Today, Miniature Highland cattle are bred for their unique appearance and smaller size, making them suitable for small farms and homesteads. Ready to meet the herd? Click below to get to know each of our Miniature Scottish Highland cattle.
Feathers and More
